In one of his writings, he describes 32 types of musical instruments sitting in Tranquebar learning Tamil (*ancient tabla and sitar are much more ancient than guitar/drums -guess where word guitar came from!).

The thing that makes you think you'll have lighter kids with a white or Chinese woman is seeing how among us desis we are different shades of tan etc though mostly same. What I have seen among all our relatives and friends is they come out in middle:the blending happens among Indians. As example I have friend who has fairly dark brother in law, and medium tan you could say wife my shade, the kids are in the middle a beautiful tan, this is true for all the kids we have seen when it is varying shades among us. Another friend has uncle on darker side but wife is medium tan..all the kids are med tan!

CB Davenport conducted study on male dominant genes and skin color is male dominant particularly when it is different races. This is why every kid we have seen of white male the kids have more his tone though they are not completely white and since dark eyes and hair are dominant, not one kid of all the inter racial couplings have blue eyes green eyes or yellow hair even with blue eyes/yellow hair parent from either side. However, with India father note: none have brown hair or brown eyes as can occur between white male/blue eyes male and darker shade India woman couplings.....every child I have noticed with Indian male father are duplicates of his exact color eyes, hair, and his skin tone.

Oddly enough, every child follows the above patterns!I know of 20+ examples outside of the situations I personally know of that follow the exact pattern. On a tangent, we know of 1000 Hindu families in states where our Hindu religion,community was passed down and every woman worked even with kids. Look up divorce rates in India 1% (also true for hundreds we know &hundreds of their relatives and friends abroad as well) while it is 80% divorce rate after 7yrs even with kids in US & up to 50% of homes having stepparents! (Women and The Economy 2004 by Hoffman/Averett). In this book it is also statistically stated that up to 50% of black children are growing up with one parent and 1/5 "other/mixed" children are as well (based on 30 year longitudinal studies). According to the Justice Department, children raised in single family homes are 9x more likely to end up in the criminal justice system.

I am not trying to offend any readers, but instead my goal is to point out those important factors which maybe a cause for marriages staying together in India or abroad (religion, community, both partners working (a commonality I have noticed), and respecting our ancient traditions).
